Camille Grammer, Kelsey's third wife filed for divorce on July 1, 2010. Being that this is his third marriage, one would think that he would be a bit more prudent. However, the articulate Grammer was not. The price he will likely pay is $50 Million dollars according to reports.
CBS News reported earlier today that Kelsey Grammer has filed for bifurcation. If a California divorce court judge finds in his favor, the divorce between Camille and Kelsey could be finalized as soon as January 1, 2011.
A Happy New Year for Grammer? That remains to be seen. It all depends upon how the actor decides to look at the glass: Half-full or Half-empty.
The couple owns real estate holdings in California, Colorado, The Hamptons, Hawaii, and New York City. The 13 year marriage between the two resulted in the amassed real estate fortune to a tune of over $100 Million dollars. No pre-nup means a 50-50 split in a divorce. The two are said to be working out the financial arrangements. Due to real estate values decreasing in recent years, valuations of their shared holdings may differ from what have been reported. In addition, Camille will be seeking spousal and child support, and full custody of the couple's two children: Daughter Mason, 8 and Son Jude, 6.
Kelsey seems more than ready to move on. Earlier this year, he and 29 year old British Flight Attendant Kayte Walsh suffered a mis-carriage. Their engagement was announced earlier this month.
For those interested, Camille can be seen on the weekly installment of Bravo TV's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
As for Kelsey, when not falling in love, again, he is producing the seventh season of Medium.
